Rell has tons of AoE CC and grouping. One CC instance hits multiple Cruelty procs on a single target.

Q triggers multiple Cruelty procs. Ult does too.

Pairs with E for massive AoE CC into double Cruelty proc. Truly disgusting.

Ult lifts enemies up for a guaranteed Cruelty proc.

Q and R both proc Cruelty multiple times with their AoE.

Pull enemies in with R, then lift with W for double Comet procs in a small radius — huge damage.

Every Hwei E procs Cruelty — EE especially pulls enemies into one spot. Since Cruelty is AoE, grouped enemies eat stacked Comet damage. After EE pulls them in, the more bodies, the more terrifying the damage.

Build Rylai's so E becomes AoE hard CC, which procs Cruelty.

Leona QER are all CC — high frequency Cruelty procs.

Cass W ground triggers Cruelty over a large sustained area — even enemies who walk in late retrigger it. R petrify enables huge burst. W+R combo dumps multiple Cruelty procs for cleanup.

Use Q for huge damage. Standard AP build, no heavy hex reliance; with Cruelty, build Stormsurge first.

Use W, E, and R's CC for full damage. With Cruelty, build mage damage amps — Void Rift combo is insane.
