Damaging an enemy champion with an ability summons a Void Scar at the location they were damaged for 6 seconds. If another Void Scar is summoned within 1250 units, through the same condition, both Void Scars are consumed to create a rift to the void between them over 0.6 seconds. Enemies within the rift are dealt 75 to 350 (+ 4.5 per 1 Lethality) (+ 4.5 per 1 flat magic penetration) magic damage and slowed by 99% decaying over 1 second.

Maokai Maokai S Void Rift is magic damage, so it fits AP champions with high magic pen — % magic pen amplifies it, and Pridestalker's ability damage procs it many times. Forge: magic pen > AP > MS.
