Caitlyn + Weapon Of Destiny

Why this rating

Experimental B for this specific item plan. The mechanics support it, but its effectiveness is unmeasured. This is not an overall augment rating.

Why it works

• Weapon Of Destiny strengthens the first legendary item through qualifying takedowns. The tooltip requires a champion you damaged within the previous 3 seconds to die, and the chosen item cannot be sold. The first completed legendary therefore matters.
• Big Shot converts a large portion of Attack Speed into Critical Strike Damage. Buying Attack Speed can feed that conversion, but does not promise a normal attack cadence.

How to play it

1. At 03:34, Body Those Fools equips Lord Dominik's Regards as the Weapon Of Destiny item. Choose this plan before completing another legendary, and seek safe damage participation to grow the chosen item. Treat it as a conditional armor-penetration choice.
2. At 16:45, the creator chooses Phantom Dancer because its Attack Speed helps Big Shot. Consider this purchase only after securing the conversion augment, and leave room to reposition between the slower attacks.

Avoid it when

• Do not force this first-item order without Weapon Of Destiny, or expect to sell the chosen item and move the upgrade later.
• Avoid committing to takedown growth when you cannot contribute damage safely. Do not chase a stack into lethal damage or buy Attack Speed expecting all of it to remain attack frequency.

ARAM Mayhem context

Video published October 30, 2026; footage patch unknown. Riot patch 26.21 notes and live augment files checked October 30 support the basic mechanics. The item choices are creator advice, with cautious site analysis. Their strength has not been measured in a match sample.
