General Changes
Release status
Riot published the 26.21 notes on October 20. The official patch calendar lists October 21 as the patch date.
Headliners
Each game gets a Headliner rule. Riot names K/DA, HEARTSTEEL, True Damage, Pentakill, Disco, Cafe Cuties, Bees and Command Line. K/DA grants an extra Augment for 4 cards. Pentakill strengthens one ability at game start and level 18. Command Line upgrades one rerolled Augment to a higher tier at each selection.
Augment rotation
The published list contains 35 additions and 13 removals. Some Augments require band progression to unlock.
Maps
Butcher’s Bridge and Koeshin’s Crossing are unavailable in Mayhem queues for this patch. Riot plans their return next patch.
Progression
Band missions unlock Augments, emotes, orange essence and other rewards. Playing games and completing missions raises Superstar Ranks, which unlock more bands and missions.
Rankings
These notes announce changes, not measured performance. Check each ranking’s patch and data date before applying it to new Augments.
