Why this rating
Experimental B for this Q-to-attack tactic, not for the augment overall. The sequence fits the augment's current in-game tooltip and Hecarim's bonus-movement-speed passive. The tooltip shown in the video has the same values as the current live game, but the footage patch is unknown and the tactic's live effectiveness has not been measured.
Why it works
- After you cast an ability, The Boom and the Bass makes your next attack within 6 seconds faster, adds magic damage on-hit and grants Move Speed that decays over 2 seconds. Landing that attack completes the sequence.
- Warpath grants Hecarim attack damage based on bonus movement speed. That gives the augment's speed burst a second potential use alongside repositioning; this is a mechanic-based interaction, not a measured damage gain.
How to play it
- Choose this plan when you can stay close enough to follow Q with basic attacks. It is a repeated-trade idea, not a promise of a one-shot kill.
- At 00:53, the creator says Hecarim can repeat Q followed by an attack when cooldowns allow. Keep space for that attack instead of casting Q and immediately leaving attack range.
- After the empowered attack, use the movement-speed burst to reposition. Let Q's cooldown and the interval between basic attacks set the rhythm. The creator's repeated-QA description does not mean those timing limits can be ignored. Riot's Hecarim description says damaging at least one enemy with Q lowers the cooldown of subsequent Q casts.
Avoid it when
- Avoid forcing the sequence when crowd control or enemy range stops you from landing the follow-up attack.
- Avoid planning trades around a lasting attack-speed boost. The faster attack applies only to the next attack after an ability. When the creator later says attack speed shortens Q's cooldown, that point is about Yasuo and Yone, not Hecarim. Hecarim's Q description does not mention attack speed.
ARAM Mayhem context
Based on a creator video published October 26, 2026. Its footage patch is unknown. The augment tooltip shown at 00:19 has the same values as the live game tooltip as of October 28, 2026: after an ability, your next attack within 6 seconds is faster, deals magic damage on-hit and grants Move Speed that decays over 2 seconds. As of the same date, Riot's official descriptions of Hecarim's passive and Q match the mechanics described here. These sources support the sequence, not a measured damage gain, performance ranking or guaranteed availability. B is an editorial rating of this Q-to-attack tactic, not of the augment's overall strength on Hecarim. The exact sequence's performance has not been measured, and no match statistics are used.
